Chubby's is in the middle of nowhere but its worth stopping in for any fan of good barbecue. Owner Tommy Caulfield calls his approach "Southern Style," but he smokes a lot more than just the pulled pork popular in the region. There's also brisket, pork loin, pork chops, baby back ribs, pit beef (summer only), and chicken. Rounding out the menu are burgers, hot dogs, chili, fried chicken and fish, and much more. But we recommend sticking to the signature items — the pulled pork in particular — and some of the good sides.

"Worth a detour from Frederick for the barbecued pork belly, Chubby's is locally underrated." See 5/28/2011 Review…»
