For the most part, this is a typical pan-Asian restaurant (mostly Japanese and Thai) that's trying to be all things to all people. But the sushi and sashimi, though neither terribly authentic nor ultra-luxe, are dependable and have many fans.

"Fans of creative maki will love this friendly Japanese/Thai dining room where there are 69 takes on the sushi roll. We go for the Turbulence, a crunchy riff on spicy tuna; the Tropical Monsoon, a marriage of white toro with mango and yuzu; a shrimp-tempura roll spiked with honey; and the garden roll with pineapple, cilantro, and basil. Traditional sushi and sashimi are fresh and finely cut, and appetizers such as airily battered tempura and a fiery Thai larb gai are good bets, too." See Full Review…»

"Robb Duncan of Dolcezzo Gelato claims this has sashimi as good as Sushi Taro, I've never been but I take that seriously."

Enat may be the best Ethiopian restaurant in the area for vegetable dishes, and the best way try the bredth of the kitchen's strength is through the generously portioned Vegetarian Combintion (that's just $11.95!). Meats are good here too, though, including lamb yebeg wat, raw beef kitfo, and cooked beef tibs.

"Even at noon on a sunny weekday, the lights are dimmed, the shades are closed, and the air is musky with incense at this white-tablecloth Ethiopian dining room. Nobody seems to care—all the better to focus on the cooking, which serves vegetarians and vegans particularly well. No veggie sampler in the area comes close to the one here, with its round of injera holding a rainbow of vivid little piles. …" See Full Review…»
